It does seem a little unfair that he can't partake and buys anyway

Who said life is fair?  Do you know how much money we can save if we do all our drinking on Tink's tab while he's in A'stan?   ROTF

suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure...take advantage of the squid...

By the way, could you post a pic of your wife and maybe her address and phone number?  You know, Coasties, Navy wives.....it's a tradition!    ROTF

Tink, shoot me a PM with the kind of books you like.  Maybe authors, whatever.  Don't want to ship you anything you have read.

her pic is on my facebook page...just look me up...although I RARELY get on faceboom...waste of time in my opinion...

Yeah... i know the Navy wives adn Coastie tradition...I'll make certain she charges you full price and then some...

Y'all, please welcome MergeleBJ, our newest shipmate!

Welcome aboard Chief, we're glad to have you here.  We are not a very segregated bunch around here because we are a military family, just about everybody posts just about anywhere on the boards. We have some ladies around here who like to stir the pot for a little fun.  Some are military moms or spouses, others are women vets and active duty military who can hold their own and I know they will want to say hi too.

If you see something that piques your interest outside of the Coast Guard boards like the USO Club, Current News, Debate Club, or Word Association on the Army Boards or some other board don't hesitate to check it out.

If you need help with anything send a PM (Personal Message) to one of your CG Mods .... myself, vftb, JekelKat or CGRDCS by clicking on our board name and then scroll down to the bottom of our profile to where it says "Send this member a personal message".

Now here's what to do next Bruce ...
As a Coast Guard member of usmilnet you have a number of available options such as a Coast Guard Board Theme, Avatars and Signature Lines.  Please check out the Everything from Avatars to Zippers board by clicking on this LINK.

Thank you for your service in the Coast Guard, we're glad to have you aboard and we look forward to your participation on the boards.  Now lay to the Porpoise Club for a cold cyberbrew and join us for some good hearted banter....
