Looks like the mud kept in almost mint condition. Probably different for the engine though.

Did you know that the Sturmgeschütz III was the most numerous of the German full tracked vehicles?

10,500 copies were produced.  The G was the most numerous of the lot - just under 7900 copies.

Amazing! I wonder what was inside?
-In one of the Pics someone is holding an MP40 up, course that doesnt mean it was found there. by the way though nt being able to read the lingo it seems as though it was found near Demjansk, which as I recall was one hell of a seige. Germany even issuing an arm shield device for survivors to wear.
