RG-31 is JUNK!!  Unless they have made alot of modifications from the base model this thing is a rolling death trap.  The claims of holding 5-10 soldiers is true except a couple of small problems:
                   1.  Sure it can hold 5-10 dismounts, but by the time you add the Battle-rattle and all other neccesities..there isnt any room for maneuver and trying to gety out is a *****.
                   2.  Notice the gun ports?  They are great, but the seats face INWARD  so how does a fully loaded soldier get turned around to use them??

It does have good armor, but its not very user friendly.

have you used one? please tell me why you say this.

if  you use this vehicle for your own pupose and not worry about how many people  stats say this will roll with.

it rides five troops and equipment comfortably. we did that deal every day. ours had hatches above the driver and TC.

you would be way safer than in a hummer.

this statement sounds uneducated or biased. mostly it's

a little pow wow after some hadji ****er tried to blow us up on a night patrol.****suckers missed didn't even get one scratch on any vehicle.

I personally spent most of my time in an RG or hummer.Also drove the buff and casspir on variuos occasions.

The new RGs don't have a hatch for the driver and A driver anymore.  That makes it a very expensive coffin for those two if it gets hit in the wrong place.
