Someone that worsk at the local supermarket has one.  Cool looking but it doesn't look like to would function well as either a truck or a passenger carrying vehicle.

More a toy than anything else I guess.

Thumbs Up I just got back from doing one of my lifelong bucklist dreams 1400 ft cloud inspector ride with the xo and it was down right @#*@** Censored  expensive but being i am a little  Crazy I will do it again next year cause it was fun Grin.

Amasing how the chute sorta just hovered behind the boat as we were almost DIW .The line was similar to the line used on boat fenders.

Sit down on the fantail after putting on a sorta baby seat swing contraption and a lifevest of course and a few minutes later off you go.

Its very quiet up there i thought that it would be noiser from the wind or something i could hear the harness creek a little and i am looking down now i believe i will stay off the hot air ballon rides (something i was considering)this was high enough.

My older brother is fully retired and is living his dream now travling the U.S.A in the largest trailer home you can tow without a 5th wheel (he sold his home in spanaway washington to do this, as he says its his life but its not for everyone but he loves it.

Anyways His wife and him are both fully retired she is not really in the best of health and there planning on buying a home in yuma arizona and settling down once there done traviling supposely in a few years.

I told him i would i vist , i want to go there anyways to vist tombstone and see those roadrunners and big spikey catus the talks about that are there and maybe catch the corner of winslow. ;-)

some friends i knew from Uncle Sams Confused Group days are living in New Mexico and e-mailed them and they want use to stop by there too.

the bucklist lives on.

Sounds like you had a good time Steve.

So your brother is thinking of buying in Yuma, huh?  I live in AZ and don't know why anyone would want Yuma.  Might be cheap but it  ain't the best place to live in AZ.

Ah well, someone has to.

I visited Winslow a coulpe years ago and have a picture of me standing next to the statue on the corner in Winslow.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38017196/ns/disaster_in_the_gulf

GRAND ISLE, Louisiana — Seven-foot waves and 25 mph winds generated by Hurricane Alex, along with high tides, pushed more oil from the massive spill onto Gulf Coast beaches Wednesday.

In Louisiana, heavy rains pounded the Grand Isle region, causing flash flooding in low-lying areas. Long bolts of lightning streaked the dark skies, keeping oil-cleanup operations locked down. A pounding surf had moved some of the boom that lines the beach.

Seen any impacts from Alex along the Gulf coast? If so, share your images with us by uploading them at firstperson.msnbc.com
Coast Guard Cmdr. Joe Higgens said the booms protecting the region would probably take a beating because of heavy seas and storm surge, and workers will start putting the barriers back in place once the weather clears.

Earlier Wednesday, Alex pushed an oil patch toward Grand Isle and uninhabited Elmer's Island, dumping tar balls as big as apples on the beach.
