no politics...I took weds, thurs, friday off to enjoy 3days5 days off (i am off every saturday and sunday anyways)

spent the first 3 days watching my grandson ,schools out and my daughter and her husband both work..and daycare prices our outragious.

Besides i love my grandson..and i work usally so i don't see him as much as i like too.

wednesday i took him a pool at the williston country club..my father in law has a home over there...

thursday i did,nt do much..i visted my brother with my grandson in tow..and watched cartoons with him and pitched a little ball..he is more into soccer than baseball . the kid is always on the move..its like he is on a sugar binge but he ain't, way too much energy.

Friday i took him to www.wildwaterspark.com and bought him a pass for the summer...since will be watching him alot, and i already have a pass to www.silversprings.com that covers wildwaters also.

I don't plan on posting too much ..but i would like to read about your days.

some of you may remember my little accident back in october..well i have decide not to take life too seriously anymore..the bills are not a problem for me ..i am blessed ..so i just try to live life day by day.

Dying is eazy..living can sometimes be rough...but i am on the downhill side right now..so i am coasting. ROTF

A Honda Accord made and assembled in America has 80% U.S.-sourced parts vs. 65% for a Ford Escape. The Accord is an American car with a Japanese nameplate.

Honda exports cars made at its plants in Alabama and Ohio from America to 30 other countries. On the other hand, some Ford, GM and Chrysler cars are imported to America from Mexico and Canada.

The realities of the global economy sure make it hard to be an isolationist.

And you sound like we attacked two countries as if 911 never happened and the 6000 violations never happened and that Iraq according to the UN used WMD on at least 3 countries previously never happened either.

May God Bless and I enjoyed the updates.

Someone said "In my journey from the cradle to the grave, I want to slide in sideways, body all used up, and yelling - 'Hot Damn what a ride!'"

I've enjoyed my children and grandchildren and I'm blessed to have lived my life "My Way."  I don't have a "check-out" date. But, I understand my body is pretty-well used up.  And, I wear my best attire - a SMILE.

I really enjoyed these last 5 days..i need to do this again sometime.

All work and no play..makes this old seacooks hair gray . Gorilla

thinking of putting in a raised garden using those old railroad tie looking things..and maybe a raise trellis to hang tomato baskets..believe i,ll make the trellis out of bamboo..just to be different.

Got the ideal ..watching tv..bamboo is light..and strong..and you may or not know it is actually a grass ..they use it for scaffoling oversea's i am told..i need to price the stuff first though.

and i probably would not take on this project till next october its to hot right now.

Got to visit my 3 yr old grandson on Sunday. Haven't seen him since last summer. If I get the job in North Pole, we will get to see him more often. Staying hopeful! Thumbs Up

Well, it finally happened. Suspended (for the first time, my last warning was over a year ago) after about 14 years on that other board. Seems I am disruptive because I made a comment abou a moderator on a thread about whether a particular board was valid or not. Hmmmmmmmm..........

Glad I don't hit those nerves here! Cool

Hope you had a nice 4th of july..walter.
sorry about you being suspended..btdt..my major problem was leaving the CG boards ..uh that and politics.

I decided to turn down over time this year.
I don't need the money..even though i just spent 2 grand on a new motor..for my dakota..i maybe crazy but heck last motor lasted me a little over 3yrs (thanks jasper Censored) which was past the warranty so i lost.

the truck was given to me..its a 4cylinder and i sorta like it..I am a little over a year from paying the house off..and i have talked the wife outta of a honda odysee..i want a 4 door ford or toyota truck..perferably a stick..but i understand there hard to get..and i ain't looking unless the house is paid for and this here motor shoots the bed..i have bad luck with 4cylinders..last four cylinder i owned was in a 83 renualt alliance i sold in 1990.

Williston celebrates the 4th early(on the 3rd weird huh?)..so being a city employee i took the family ..at the best location to see the shebang and on the actual day ..i took them to silversprings.. www.silversprings.com to see the loving spoonfull and terry clark and live bait..OH and some more fireworks..

I wanted to steal the grandson today to go to the waterpark..but there out scalloping with some friends on the stienahatchy...hope there having fun..i am watching some shows i dvr earlier ..mostly trutv and ..cops and such.

Had to turn on the AC finally. Temp is in the 70's and it feels like it is hot as hell. I guess I won't be retiring to Florida soon. The family next to ours is leaving to head for Texas (permanent move). Dental tomorrow...guess I will be eating yogurt for a day or two. Not looking forward to it at all. Just had a root canal so that I can get a crown. Not a fun ritual. Hey, I envy you Spacecowboy, fresh scallops. Was looking at them in the store today...most of them are frozen. Cool

Hey Walter-  If 70 feels hot you may want to avoid Arizona.  We keep our A/C at 78 and the high this week is supposed to be 114.

I have trouble believing that I was partially raised in Florida and yet can't handle moderate heat. I have avoided the south except to visit. Had some salmon last night with our neighbor who is getting ready to head to Texas in a couple of months. His wife is from Wasilla and isn't looking forward to it. Went to the dentist today... Cool

Record heat in Anchorage today...82 degrees. The RV park had so many people with A/Cs on that we blew the transformer on the pole. They put up a stronger one with a bigger fuse. Thank goodness for generators! Cool
