Coast Guard Port Security Unit 311
Trains For Deployment


     

SAN PEDRO, Calif. - PSU 311 is a deployable unit that is comprised mostly of reservists who are continually on call for operations to support military missions worldwide.  (Photos Left to Right) Members of Port Security Unit 311 respond to simulated enemy fire during security detail training exercises at Coast Guard Base San Pedro November 12, 2008.  Members of Port Security Unit 311 conduct security detail training drills at Coast Guard Base San Pedro.  Members of the Port Security Unit 311 conduct security detail training by simulating a shipmate being injured.  Members of the Port Security Unit 311 have been wet down to train and simulate being in extreme elements during future deployments this morning on Coast Guard Base San Pedro.  (U.S.Coast Guard photos by Petty Officer 3rd Class Christina L.
